Palamino Banshee

My DD is looking at a hybrid Toy Hauler and is considering the FR Palomino Banshee line of Hybrids. Are there any folks out there (lurking or otherwise) that have one?

We have the roo 21ssl. This has the toyhauler deck just like the banchee. We love love love ours!!!!! Perfect for our family and definitely turns heads everytime we are out. Liked the set up of the banchee but liked the 21ssl layout better

Hi there, new to the forum. I have the Banshee B-3 and love it, granted I haven't really had a chance to take it out yet (I will this weekend) but love the design and the capability to haul our dirtbikes on it

I looked at both, the Banshee was nice, but I finally found a Shamrock 21ssl and bought it. I liked the interior layout and thought it might be a little better on rough forest roads.

There are several manufactures offering similar models with the deck on the front to carry your bikes or quads. You won't be disapointed with the Banshee.

I have the 21ssl roo and love every thing about it, except one very minor thing.

First off, the box is exactly the same as the 21ss, which is a nice thing to be. The platform was only like a grand or so more $$$ over the cost of a standard 21ss. I have an excursion, and I like not having to put firewood, and other things inside the cabin of my truck.

The only thing I dont like...? This thing tows hard. It feels like a 10K pound unit back there. I run a 7.3 diesel, with airraid intake, MBRP 5" turbo-back exhaust and a custom DP Tuner chip, and I have to work the truck way harder than I thought I'd have to. I can run 70-75 on flat ground easy, but I pull about 1100 degrees on the EGT's doing it. Going up hills can peg the EGT's so I have to back out of the throttle and shed speed to keep it cool. My son's school marching band equipment trailer (22 foot 2 axle box) grosses out at about 8500lbs and it didnt pull nowhere near a hard as the roo. I guess having the box way back there makes it like a big parachute. This in now way detracts from owning one, but you should know about it before you buy one.

You should check out www.powerstrokearmy.com for ideas on how to lower EGTs. It's a great site with a lot of knowledgeable people.
