Second Tent Failure on 2021 185x

We bought a 2021 palomino Solaire 185x new. First the front bunk immediately after purchasing got a crack in the corner where the plastic rail holds the tent to the body. It was so bad that the bunk was unusable. (This was among many many problems.)

It took six months to get it replaced. Of that time it sat at the dealer for four months waiting for parts. We got it back, took it on another trip, and the sink fell out. We fixed that ourselves.

Now on the side bunk the same problem is happening but we just happen to be right out of the one year warranty.

Has anyone experienced this? And have you been able to get Forest River to repair it?

Having the same issue

@ Llamamama

We also purchased a new Solaire 185x in Nov 2021. We discovered the rips in the rubber seals on the bunk tilt-outs in Feb when we attempted to stay in the camper for the first time in my parent's yard. We contacted the dealership it was purchased through immediately after and was told they could not take it in to their service area until May 5th. Well, they've had it since May 5th and our warranty will expire in November with us not having had a single trip in it. I would love to speak with you further!

You could have used an independent RV shop or mobile RV technician for warranty work.
