I was sure to get a Roo but now that I see another nice product from FR interested if anyone has experienced both or quality of Solaire because I know The Roo my buddy has a 21SS

You'll find much better prices on the Roo, than you will the Solaire. There are far fewer Solaire dealers, than there are Roo dealers.
When we were in the market, there were only 3 Palomino dealers in the entire state of California and none carried any Palomino hybrids.
They are as well made as Roo/Shamrock hybrids and nearly all of the posts from Palomino owners, are positive.
But they don't offer the number of floor plans that Roo/Shamrock does.

They are getting closer though - with some interesting new floor plans.

2 years ago, I was leaning toward buying a Palomino hybrid. They had just re-branded from the Stampede to the Solaire. New colors looked nice, and we liked their version of the Roo 23SS we had seen the year before. Went to the RV show to do some serious looking, and the local Palomino dealer had no units. "Hadn't decided yet" if they were going to keep selling them. That was the same time the 23IKSS was rolled out, and the dealer actually had trailers in stock. Since that was the only island kitchen hybrid at the time, we bought the IKSS.

But, even though Solaire dropped their 23SS equivalent, they still have the 3 bunk plan, and 2 island kitchen plans, plus several smaller/lighter models. This new one looks interesting. Advertised as a true 60X80 queen bed in place of a front tent. And a shower with a door.

Not sure about the hybrids, but last Spring I priced some Rockwood and SolAire TT's with RVWholesalers and the SolAire was often less money. If you like the SolAire, I'd suggest giving RVWholesalers a call and pricing both as they sell both lines. FWIW, I have had 2 Palomino Pumas and find the Palomino construction to be very good. My Mother has a Rockwood, and I think it is well built, too, though.
