where did my vent cover go!?!?!?!

So this past weekend it rained off and on. After the first rain i went into the camper for something and noticed water on my floor below the living room vent. Wait, where did that come from??? i look up and can see the sky through the vent. WTH where is my cover???

I got home and got the ladder out, climb up there and just cant figure out how the heck i lost my cover. the dealer put them on so i am not sure if they used a nut and bold or self tapping screws to attach to the metal side of the vent. i figured wind or something ripped it off but the holes are clean and straight. besides, the cover it self kind of keeps the inside screws from pulling out. there is like no damage from it ripping off.

i cant believe it to be true but all signs lead to some one stealing it. but i just cant believe that. maybe. or maybe i just didnt notice it a few weeks back when my gas door strut was broken. Maybe i did hit something and it damaged both. Maybe the thief broke the gas strut trying to get up and steal my vent

i shall never know the answers to either issue. but the gas strut was an easy fix and help up this past trip. A new vent cover is sitting at walmart with my name on it and looks to be a very easy install.

been a weird few issues lately along with A/c going in my truck and my "check airbag" light being on now.... annoying issues but still having a blast with family and friends
