Mystery water...

Hello I'm the new girl here and a little helpless with a lot of RV things.
Can anyone please tell me why underneath my tub where it meets the floor and appears to be sealed with some glossy stuff, is there a leak? It started out just a few spots and this morning I woke up and there was at least a half a cup of water? I have a 2018 coachmen Clipper 21 ft.
I have not been able to find any obvious holes or spots where it could be coming from and I checked the vent above and it's dry as a bone.
What's a little helpless new girl to do?

We had an issue in our trailer (this may or may not be your situation) where water was able to run down the shower wall, and then trickle out a little bit at a time at the corner of the tub (where the tub meets the wall). It would then collect on the floor. Makes it appear there is a leak but its just run off finding a way to escape over the top of the tub/shower base and get to the floor. If that is the issue that can be remedied a lot easier than a leak. Start with the easiest solutions. It really sucks if you go through a whole lot of work to fix a leak to find the problem persists, only to then find the solution all along was much simpler.

Call a mobile rv repair service?

The water could be coming from anywhere. Has it been raining? Does it occur only after you've used the shower/tub or is it all the time? Do you have an access panel near the floor which you can take off and look underneath? If you find the leak, do you have the ability to fix it?
You've obviously got a water leak and it needs to be fixed.

Welcome to the forum.

Hello and thank you that actually does sound like it. I did forget to add that I can't tell if it's happening only when it rains or not I did not use the tub or shower at all yesterday but it did rain last night but that should not have anything to do with it correct?

That depends. Water is going to travel to the lowest point, so if you have a leak in the roof or a vent, it could travel to the floor.
However, if there is a loose connection, it could be leaking slowly and form the puddle.
Finding and fixing a water leak in a rig is difficult.

Hi thank you for the good questions! It has happened when I have not used the tub or shower but I don't really know to associate it with raining but it did rain last night and this is the most water I've seen come out of it. Below my cabinet is a space behind the heater that has a panel that can be removed but other than that I can't access the pipes any further under the tub.

I'm trying to post a picture of that space that is actually what I would consider in front of the tub and bathroom area?

You could also have a leak to the supply lines that feed the shower faucet.
It could be dripping onto the floor and running towards the front of the shower and out the front. These could leak regardless of whether you use the shower as there is water pressure there anytime you are connected to the spigot or have your pump on.

As mentioned, it could be a tank vent pipe leak where water from the roof is dribbling down the outside of vent pipe and dripping onto the floor area under the shower and out the front.

Water leaks can sometimes come from far away places from where you see the water.

The picture you posted above, does that angled piece come out below the heater?

Hello all,
Since after my last post I have made a couple of discoveries. I saw some droplets of water on the bathroom floor and I looked up and could see there were some drops coming from the vent. I cleaned them up and used the shower and tub and now there is a larger amount of water from that same spot in the very first picture. Is this the whole "must be a leak in the roof thing then? "
