2011 XLR 35x10 Fan Switch

Hi can anyone tell me if there is a switch for the vent fan on the ceiling in the kitchen or do I have to climb on a stool to turn it on or off everytime?

I noticed that on the XLR we looked at, too. Asked the sales guy, cause it's about the dumbest thing I ever saw. It's located right over the kitchen, so you would think it would be easily accessible if you got to get rid of cooking odors. Nope- no switch, and that ceiling had to be about 9' high!!!

Hey chipnet, I bought the same unit in Dec. Same issue, but Camping World has a fix, they sell a Fan-Tastic Ceiling Fan upgrade kit w/ remote, cat.#37334 you just unscrew old fan and install new one. takes about 1/2 hr. It cost about $150.00 You can open vent and turn on fan with remote. Other than that how do you like your unit?. We had the loft bed stairs omitted, and an upper cabinet installed so wifey could have her washer and me my garage

Hey zram, thanks for the info. Love the trailer. we did have a few issues with the slids leaking but seems to be okay now after dealer adjusted. we are however still having problems with the kitchen slide, we have to help push it in to get it started! once its moving it seems to go in. Its going back to dealer in June. Hey do you have the flat screen mount in the bedroom? Mine did not come with one and I would like to add it and also a mount in the storage compartment. So I was woundering what the make of bracket it was and the measurments where the unit is screwed to the wall.
