2013 XLR 27HFS Questions

I have sold my 27HFS to upgrade to a 30HDS, and the new owner has a few questions:

1. What is the 3rd light switch in the garage used for? (1 goes to the lights in the garage, 1 goes to the outside lights by the drop door and I have no clue on the 3rd switch)
2. The fuel station, for some reason, is not working. When I flip the switch by the fridge and then go out and flip the switch by the fuel guage it doesn't turn on the pump.

I have a 29 HFS with 4 switches. 2 are as you said, one for the roof fan and the 4th for a light on the outside left side of the trailer above the hookups. So your third may be one of those two.

Dennis - Thanks for the quick response. When I called the dealer, they couldn't tell me what it was for.

Any thoughts on from anyone on the pump. That is my biggest concern at this time.

Mine has done that twice. Once was like a relay,( I did not do the work, so I don’t know the location.). The other time it was the pump itself.

On My 2012 hfs is a switch for the fan above the bed

I thought the 3rd switch you're referring to is for the fuel pump?

Our unit has 4 switches

garage lights / flood lights outback/ door light/ fan switch


Our unit doesn't have a fuel pump but i would check the circuit breaker

I was able to fish a wire from the light switch to the fan and add a second switch for the fan.

Those fuel pumps are plastic and have a short life span if fuel is left in them. The plastic eventually swells and locks the pump up. Could be something else, but this is common

The third switch is for the light outside where the hook ups are. I have separate switches for all the maxx air vent fans. Did you get tank heaters? Those switches would be on the left side of the bathroom door entering from the garage.
