Is the trailer running nose high? This could put undue stress on the rear axle as well.

I here ya ,the atvs are 1100 together but either way 40lbs or so should not break the camels back. That's like buying a car trailer but its not capable of carrying a car 2 atvs water and fuel should be within the abilities of the trailer.

Things people don't think about .
Dry weight of camper means absolutely nothing .
That number is the camper weight leaving factory.
Dealer fills propane tanks 100lbs
Dealer adds battery/batteries 100/200lbs
Any dealer add ons add to that dry weight

He's already added 200/300 lbs or more to that dry weight lowering your ccc before you get it.

It really shouldn't matter they should've put 7k axles under like everyone else building toyhaulers I mean what's the point on having it if you can't load it with what it's designed for. But yea I will keep you posted because its not right !

I did not see any one installing the axles so I do not know what tools they use. The frames are brought into the assembly point and the axles and wheels are then nstalled before moving on to the next point of assembly.

I am done with visiting the plant, but would return again if the need arose. I just took delivery of my 386x12 this past Friday and was wanting to sanitize the water system. I found the two low point drains blue and a red line, but I could not locate a drain for the fresh water tank. Do you have one on your unit? Where is the fresh water tank located in reference to the bathroom? The generic owners manual is useless for identifying any components particular to the XLR 386

Fresh water tank drain is located left side between the center and rear axle.
There is a blue hose with a black cap that's your drain. It kinda sucks cause you have to crawl under to reach it. The 2 you found are to drain the water lines to the whole camper , hot and cold

Great! Thanks for the quick reply. I will look for it next time I get out to complete the setup. Out of town company coming later today so I will have to wait about a week. Did you ever get your bar stools? The Weber grill and cart was missing from my unit...but the dealer is working with me to locate it.

I did not get the full paint and I tow it with a 2012 GMC 3500 SRW with the Duramax Diesel and Allison transmission. T he XLR weighs in at 13777 empty. The cargo I plan to haul is my 2009 Harley Electra Glide Classic
