27HFS Clearance

Looking to take the 27HFS through the desert. How is the clearance? Can it be flipped?

How is the clearance when driving on very rough roads/no roads (i.e. Pismo Beach, etc.).

For additional clearance can the axles be placed under the springs? Does the 15" option do this anyways?

Was thinking about just seeing if a dealer could upgrade to 16" wheels and upgraded axles (didn't like the load capacity anyways of the stock wheels).

aaaaaa I see what your saying . I would say check with an axle specialist . someone who specializes in axles and springs .
Mutual Wheel Company - The Truck Experts for example
or any local spring shop
