27HFS Things to change from MFG

Here are the things I see that need to be changed in the 27HFS.
1. MOVE THE GREY WATER VALVE FROM UNDER THE SLIDE OUT
2. ANGLE THE TOILET 45 DEGREES
3.FIGURE OUT HOW FOR THE DOORS NOT TO HIT THE AWNING
4. NO HANGING LOW WATER DRAINS ANGLE AND HARD LINE TO EDGE OF TT
5. NOT SURE WHAT THE OUTSIDE SHOWER IS FOR BUT THE MUNCHINS FROM WIZARD OF OZ HAVE TO DUCK
6.ACCESS TO THE HW BYPASS WITHOUT REMOVING THE BED (ACCESS PANEL) THERE IS THE MOD WITH PICS
7. IF TT CAN HAUL 2K MAKE SURE RAMP CAN HANDLE 1000LB BIKE AND HEAVY RIDER MUCH LESS SOME TWIG
8. GET RID OF THE PLEATED SHOWER CURTAIN, IT SUCKS UNLESS YOUR 100LBS
9. OPTION FOR BARREL KEYS SO NO 751 KEY ISSUES
10. LOCKED UP WATER SOURCE ( YOU LOCK THE SWITCH FROM TANK TO DIRECT BUT NOT THE WATER HOOKUP, IT IS 2 INCHES AWAY WTF!!!)
11. WINDOWS IN THE DOORS STANDARD (iF $10 LABOR AND $20 IN PARTS ADDED UP IS GOING TO BREAK YOU THERE ARE ISSUES.)

any others wild ideas?

Add a place to mount a TV in the front bedroom. (Besides sitting it on night stand)

I made mounts for TV's in the garage, outside for football season and the front bedroom. I used the same wall mount in the kitchen area. I never tow with them on the mounts. I wrap them in small blankets then lay them face down on the front bed.
I did not want to bolt them into the exterior walls. Used a 1x6 and 2x4 and covered them with felt.
The base plate is the same in all locations. Each TV mount comes with 2 wall plates.
In the off season I have one in the house... I need one in the house garage...... another day for that job.

I wanted easier access to water pump without battling the mattress.

I cut the board under the bed on the driver's side and added a support beam where the cut was made. I also relocated the pump and added an accumulator tank. Just makes things easier to access. I wrapped some of the lines to reduce hammering noise.

now I can tilt the bed and gain access much easier.

I do many mods, most do not cost much $$. Many of the materials I have on hand and need to put them to good use.

I had a white LED light and decided it would be best served on my gen for after dark. Honda should have put one on it. I used a small toggle switch to turn it off or on.

I have these ideas and I can't help myself. The wife just shakes her head and smiles. Nothing is safe from a mod.

Also, if you have the generator installed our dealer relocated the generator start/stop control from deep the front bed (WTF... go figure...) to be on the wall with the battery cut off.

I also wish they left enough room on the front battery rack to accommodate 2 batteries... I have 2 in the battery rack, but both batteries are up on each side. If I had a cut off torch I'd "fix" that (hmm, wonder how annoyed the wife would be with that purchase. Of course then I'd need a welder too. ).

Very nice. I looked at the same TV mount for the dining area but didn't think it would hold a 32 inch. I'm very impressed with the modifications and plan to steal some of your ideas. Nice going and thanks for sharing.

Sorry for the highjack but I have a question for Steve-
Is that "Adam 12" on the TV in the pic? Sure looks like Officer Reed if I remember correctly...I was only knee high to a grasshopper back then.
