30HFS5 tire pressure

So the sticker on the side of the 5er says to run the tires (235/85/16) at 95psi. However the tire sidewall says single 3520 lbs. at 80psi but the tires are 235/80/16 not 85. So I've been running them at 80. What is everyone running in their tires? Thanks!

The Factory only knows what they put on your hauler.

Once you change the tires, follow their (tire manufacturer) guidelines

I still have the original tires from when we bought it new. Which is why it was odd to see a slightly different size tire and different recommended tire pressure on the sticker on the side of the 5er. And to that point, the max tire inflation as indicated on the tire is not usually the vehicle manufacturers recommended tire pressure.

Will probably look at getting new tires next year as it will be 5 years on the current ones.

Tire Pressure

This is what I have been told to do but you all tell me if I'm wrong. If the tire pressure said 80psi cold does that mean when its 97 degree's outside and that pressure increases by 12psi that is exceptable. Or depending on temperature outside you have to adjust the pressure to make sure they do NOT exceed 80 psi. Thats what I do. I adjust to make sure at whatever temperature it is outside I either add or deduct to maintain those pressure. Unless you have a tire that allows for varances. I use goodyear tire that are good up to 110PSI. I put 90psi and when tires come up to temp the pressures are around 104 to 106 psi. Thats just me.

When tire is cold, hasn't been towed anywhere you inflate to 80. If you have traveled and it's not 95 that is ok as once it cools down it should once again be 80.
