Anderson hitch

Getting ready to take possession of new 44' Forest River XLR on Friday.

Looking at hitches to use and I already have a B&W Turnover Ball Goose Neck in truck now.

Dealer Rep says that the best hitch on the market is the ANDERSON HITCH.
I've seen both good and bad comments on other forums but I felt that it would be very relevant to post of the FR Forum.

All help and comments are appreciated.

Sounds like that dealer needs to sell some Andersons.
Do some research for yourself on available hitches. Lots of options.
For an RV of that size/weight, I wouldn't even consider an Anderson, but that is just my opinion.

I felt like they were real quick to mention the Anderson Hitch. only problem at the present is that I can't locate another 5th wheel hitch. Not a new one anyway.

I really like my Anderson. Fiver is only #15,000 or so. Wife is deadly hooking up. Never two tries.

Great turning, light weight.

My second choice was the B&W companion. I did not want the extra weight.

I love the Andersen, but I agree with NMWildcat, I wouldn't pick the Andersen for that RV.

I'd pick a hitch in the 30,000 lb range for that RV.
