Marcus Lemonis: If you're OK with what Trump said, don't shop at my businesses 1:45 PM ET Wed, 16 Aug 2017 | 03:12

Serial entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis had some choice words on Wednesday about those who may support President Donald Trump's response to the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"There's no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don't shop at my business," said Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World and host of CNBC's "The Profit."

I've got a few spendy upgrades planned for the RV. I'll be shopping elseware that's for sure. I'll be happy giving my hard earned dollars to another business.

Since I've been kindly asked not to shop there, I won't. No problem. Neither one of us will miss the other.

Ok fine...

Good to know... But no real loss as Camping World represents one of the big problems in the RV industry IMHO.. Stopped visiting years ago...

The far-right & far-left extremists are a VERY small percentage of the population yet the media, politicians, etc. are letting them have a major negative impact on our society.

We may have to change our camping plans to fit-in some major historical sites before they are ruined/gone...

Well then, to quote the Warden from Cool Hand Luke: "If that's the way he wants it...He gets it". No more Camping World for me.

Doesn't he also own the Good Sam RV club?

I only rarely shop at Camping World anyway but I certainly won't be stopping there at all now.

He owns Gander Mountain- Gander Outdoors now too. No loss there. Only place I've seen where prices are ABOVE MSRP.

There is no shame in scavenging around ... clearance sales are a wonderful way to score bargains ...

For every person in the manufacturing and supply chain who fervently believes in politic A and/or religion X, there is another person who believes with equal passion in politic B and/or religion Y.

As far as corporations and big money go ... whose retirement doesn't have it's big toe dipped in Wall Street somewhere ??

/* End Rant */

One of the greatest things about boondocking is the disconnection from news and the mass media. Although we will confess to a Sirius Boom-Box and plenty of D-Cells. Still leaves plenty of time to gather gratuitous gobs of wood and subsequently convert it into carbon dioxide emissions via thermal oxidation.

OK members, this is a political topic. As per the site guidelines, they are 'usually' not allowed:

General discussions of politics, general government policies, weaponry, gun rights and religion are not allowed in ANY areas of the forum. Discussions about current or pending legislation or regulations, weapons and religion that directly pertain to RVing are acceptable but will be closed or removed if they wander off topic or become disruptive.

We are closing this thread to further posts while we discuss it. Thank You
