Crank window broke!

One if the small crank windows that are on either side of the large window in the living room won't close. The slides in the track came out. Doesn't look like they were ever in the track sine when the window is closed the slides don't even go all the way to the end. How do you get these back in? Everything is rivets.

First remove the screen.
There should be a little plastic ring somewhere along the bottom edge of the screen.
Lift up on the screen to disengage it from the bottom and pull toward you.

Now that you can actually lay hands on the arms I think you can probably just spring
them down and back into the window tracks. You might need a helper on the outside. It might be easier to reengage the arms with the window mostly open or
mostly closed. Try both ways and see which works best.
Worth a try for sure!

Good luck!

Doesn't work, we tried that. I did find a video on YouTube and is pretty easy to do.

Good video but I wonder if the rollers can somehow jump out of the track
without disassembling the window why can't they be made to jump back
into the track- without disassembly???

Either way we gotta wonder if you got your window fixed?

Window fixed! The video was a real help. We tried to get them back in but they don't slide to the end to reinsert unless the rivet is out. The slides are plastic and if you try and force them on the track without sliding on I'm afraid they would break.
