Buy anti-stiction fluid. Walmart has it, online at least.

Sometimes the wind catches my slide toppers and moves the trailer a bit.

I live in a Can_De_Minium. I expect a bit of movement.

The CAT fluid is the only stuff on that bulletin that actually works. I know people who have used the fork fluid and it didn't stop the popping. I put the CAT fluid in mine this spring and it totally eliminated all of my popping. When mine popped, it shook the trailer. Not a sound this summer!
