Dual coax in living aea

I have a 27hfs and there is a dual coax hookup with a booster push button switch. on a recent trip I hooked up the rv park cable to the coax hookup outside and was able to get cable tv. Now after I raised the antennae and pointed in the right direction I was able to get over the air digital tv after changing the tv from cable to tv and turning on the booster switch. My ???is what is the other male coax for it says SAT . is there a hookup on the roof?
Just trying to figure this all out.....................

More than likely where you hooked up your park cable coax to your unit is another male connection. This would be for a sat. dish that would be seperate from your unit. Unless you have a dish on your roof there is not a connection there.

If you had a portable Sat dish that is where you would connect it, the splitters for Cable TV and Sat are different so you have two different connection points.

On my 5er there is an outside "sat hookup"
inside there's another "sat / aux " by the tv over the air connection.
1 dish cable hooks to outside connector
2 cable from sat/aux goes to dish reciever
3 reciever output cable goes to tv

ok outside I have 1 coax hookup on the inside I have 2 male coax hookups one is marked Sat/Aux and the lower one that has the antennae booster switch and light next to it says Cable/Antennae I had the Resorts Cable hooked up outside and the tv hooked up to the Cable/Ant turn on the booster for antennae and off for cable switching the tv of course from antennae to cable. I tried it the other way and it didnt work. Now if you were watching cable and turned on the booster the picture went fuzzy untill you turned the tv to antennae. I just thought there might be another coax male somewhere. I have not tried putting a tv in front bedroom or cargo area yet. Any Ideas???

I think you wanted to use the sat/aux hook up.
I had mine apart last night here's what I found.

Outside coax labeled sat went straight to the sat/aux connector inside.
outside coax labeled cable went to booster switch for ota ant.
So with booster off you can use cable with booster on u use ota antenna.
now off of the booster switch I had one coax that went to the main tv.
then another that went into a three way splitter and off that splutter the three other lines went to master bedroom coax
outside tv coax
and bunk house coax.

Here's what all this means

Ota " over the air " tv will go to all tv coax in camper
Cable with booster off will go to all tv coax
Satellite will only go to main tv "separate coax" that runs to reciever.
Clear as mud? Lol

I think you may be able to hook sat into cable and shut off
Booster and all tvs will see satellite but all have to watch same program.
