Exterior Grill Mount Installation

Just picked up an exterior grill mount (i.e. Camco) and was planning to screw the mount into the exterior wall. Any recommendations on where to do it (right now somewhere above the quick connect by the door) or how to best secure it into our walls? I was planning to get use some silicon and screws, and was going to see if I could find a frame at all.

FYI, the one I was sent was a little smaller and closer to the wall.

Not sure on XLR models, but the Work and Play toy hauler has solid plywood walls, no framing. If you have the little side vents, in the garage area, look in and around those. That will tell you how thick the wall is, and maybe what it is made of.

The only thing that had me optimistic was there is the plumbing for the LP quick connect by the door. Was kind of hoping maybe they put some metal there for it.

Going to try and give Forest River a call, although I'm half expecting them to say it'll void the warranty or something kind of silly like that.
