Exterior pricing difference

We are interested in the boost 28rzr16 and was wondering if anyone had an estimate on the price difference between steel and fiberglass exterior. Trying to get a good idea if the local dealer is in the ballpark on price or not.

Generally the fiberglass is around a few thousand more although there is such a great variance in pricing between dealers, it's not always the case. I ended up buying my current camper because it was $3000 cheaper than my local dealer (known nationally as a low price dealer) and had the fiberglass (vs. Siding) along with a roof ladder, electric jacks and a residential fridge with an inverter. No brainer for me to travel the 90 miles each way to get a better equipped camper for $3000 less.

Aluminum sided trailers will have wood frame construction. They will also be heavier. That's why they are called Stick and Tin construction.

Filon sided trailers will have aluminum frame construction and will be lighter.
This is for comparable floorplans.

Ok thanks for the info. We own a Rockwood FW now and didn't have a choice on exterior.
