Factory tour - wonderfully done... not factual however
First time I saw this video... by the end I was rolling on the floor laughing. Everything is tested... leak tested... all debris blown out...

I'm afraid the sawdust is all that's holding it together. When it stops falling out, should I worry? I see why the EPDM material has spots its not glued down. It took them 25 seconds to attach the roofing.

I didn't see any shop vacs in any of the video that the workers use to vacuum out sawdust from drilling holes.

No, I'm sure they inspect them... or maybe one in twenty. But, when they find something wrong do they do anything about it? I like the part where he said, that anybody can stop the line if he sees something wrong, or to words of that effect. The guy that hung my microwave by its flimsy face frame, with it not sitting on its bottom in the cabinet, because the hole was made too big. Pumped in 6 or 8 screws knowing damn well that wasn't going to hold this 40# microwave... for instance. In the video "all systems are thoroughly checked" is an outright lie. The guys rolling down the EPDM in 25 seconds shows you how they do everything. You know why they can build junk? Because we buy it based on price. It all comes down to dollars.

As a businessman with extensive engineering, marketing and manufacturing background, I find this a rather appalling video. And while it’s bad enough that they build this way, I can not for the life of me understand how this would get released as a promotional video.

Yes, I guess their "attention to detail and testing" is why my black tank wasn't lined up and sealed properly with the toilet, allowing "stuff" from the toilet to get into the underbelly. All it took was holding the toilet ball open and shining a flashlight down to see the at least 1/2" black crescent of the black tank blocking part of the pipe from the toilet (my first RV, so not something I thought to check until we had water pouring out the underbelly). Also, their claim to checking every LED light before it leave the factory is false. We picked up our RV within three weeks of it coming off the factory floor, and there were at least two, if not three or more, lights that weren't working and needed to be fixed during our walk through. To be fair, FR did fix the black tank issue, including ripping out the underbelly and replacing it with all new insulation and coroplast, but they took their time approving the warranty work.
