How long did you wait for your XLR?

I ordered my xlr thunderbolt about 3 weeks ago and I was wondering what the average wait time is on these units. Dealer told me about 8 to 10 weeks with the holidays. I ordered it with full body paint. How long did you guys have to wait?

I ordered mine last January and it took about 11 or 12 weeks. Standard graphics on mine.

Ordered mine in March of 2014 and it took 17 weeks--mid July.

I ordered mine with full body paint at the beginning of December 2015, and it was delivered to the dealer 16 weeks later in March 2016.

It's well worth the wait!

[update] My trailer was finished being built and sent to paint the first week of February. Seems like they are backed up because of a shortage of paint shops in the area. The factory rep called me yesterday explaining why they are behind. He said the trailer will be painted and ready for the dealer to pick it up by March 10th or 11th.

That's so funny! Last year I was waiting for mine also, because I had reservations at Pirates Cove. Got it a week before and made Spring BREAK. We will be out there again from 3/10 to 3/15. Maybe we will see you there!

I ordered a thunderbolt XLR 413. I Will be at pirate Cove April 8-15 peninsula 12. Stop by and say hi. We will have rzrs, boats, kids, adults, and a lot of food.

I am from Corona. I will be driving out to Ohio to pick it up as soon as it is ready.

You better up that figure, the full body paint makes the order take MUCH longer.

I'd say.... 14-15 weeks, my dealer had one FB paint order go 16 weeks! (sure it depends on the time of year)

First up, congrats. You must be ecstatic!

I have to say (5-6 weeks additional) is what my dealer quoted me when I ordered the FB paint. He said you have to be very patient when ordering this option. Being winter, I had no issue.

Yes the wait is pretty painful. I had asked my salesguy for a picture once he had it delivered to his lot. The picture that he sent was this.

Not the best picture but he has been so awesome.

I then joined XLR Facebook group and someone who was on a tour Monday (the day my camper came back from paint) took these pictures and it happened to be my trailer. He just took the picture because he was admiring the paint job.


So this is all I have of it. I was going to hit the road today to be there by Tuesday but my wife and daughter wants to go so I'll be leaving Wednesday 🤦*♂️. What's a few more days right? Lol

I think your 413 FP is exactly like ours (422) minus the front deck. Hope the short wait time passes by quickly, best to always to include the family on these big and memorable times of coach delivery.
