I pulled the trigger

We bought our first new camper! I'm pleased so far with couches rv nation. We got the 16 xlr nitro 305 vl5. 12 ft garage for rzr 4, with a queen bed and couches underneath, nos package, big air pkg, heated tanks, 15 k ac, we are excited. It will be delivered next week.

What do we need to look at upon delivery? They are doing a pdi before it leaves. Traveling 500 miles.

Everything! Have them set it up from travel mode and show you EVERYTHING works correctly.

There are some great PDI check lists online. Google one and print it. Cross off what doesn't apply then add your own items. The hard part is fighting through the excitement and actually going through it all when picking it up. Try to stay focused but remember, you're going to miss something and that's ok. Congrats and enjoy.

Put water in it. Tank and city line. Check for leaks everywhere. Check all dump valves. Make sure they don't leak and function properly. Water leaks will kill a good time. I know it seems like a pain to do.. but a flooded rv is a memory no one needs.

like most have said check everything . take your time . every screw , every chalk line , walk the roof , and once you think your done go over it again and then again . make sure you get what you are paying for like paying for a 20,000 btu furnace and only getting a 19,000. bring a discrepancy like that up to Jeff and he will lose his sh#$ and go on a rampage .

To Avoid further headache in dealing with forest river i agreed drop the issue in exchange for the 2nd yr warranty . simple compromise. not that the warranty it worth anything . the specs are changed on the forest river site now and the dealers better get theirs taken care of as well . they no longer have lame excuses .
