New 2014 xlr 27 hfs

Just got news the new 2014 xlr 27hfs has just arrived. They are installing a slide awning and a electric tongue jack. We will be picking it up this coming week. We originally bought a 2013 on the lot unit, but they asked us if we could wait because they had someone who wanted our unit right away. Anyway they informed us the new unit was a 2014 model with the same features for the same price. They even added a double electric bed in the garage for no charge. I can't wait to see it!

Congrats on your new camper. Sounds like waiting was a good thing!

Congratulations, Wiscampsin is right you are going to like the electric touge jack. I just installed one and it sure beats the hand crank style.

Which electric jack did you get for the 27HFS? I hear Barker is the best, and were you able to put on the 3500#, or the 3000#?, the difference I hear is 2" vs 2 1/4" down pipe.

I went with the 4500 husky. in stock on amazon.com for about 215.00 a friend of mine had the 3500 and only got 3 years out of it before the worm gear inside finally let go from the strain of picking up camper and tow vehicle. food for thought.
