On board Fuel station

I just recently traded in my XLR 27HFS for a 29HFS. Both units had/have the on board fuel station and prep for the generator, but no generator installed.

When I picked up the 29HFS, the walk through person indicated that the fuel station would not completely empty the on board fuel tank because it "saved" the last 30-40% as reserve for the generator if it was installed. I don't remember on my 27HFS whether this seemed to be true.

Does anyone know if this is true? It seems to me, if I want to use all my fuel for my "TOYS", I should be able to, especially since there is no generator installed.

Thanks for any info.

Thanks, that makes way more sense to me. I will have a look to see where the lines to the future generator go into the tank, might be a good indicator as to how that works.
