I wonder if you mean Naples? If so the average age of women is 70 +.

Okay, MAYBE that's an exaggeration.

NS, weather is all good.

I would stay farther north than Naples... no further south than Fort Meyers.

I would look for a place first in Venice (my old home town) then start looking south from there.

Little towns are good for fishing but night life is nearly non existent. Fort Meyers is a larger small town and nice.

Tampa would be much better for night life but you would have to travel towards Clearwater (for example) for fishing.

I don't have recommendations for a particular park, and although there are plenty, most will already be reserved. Sites are at a premium; so the earlier you can secure one the better. Many of the trailer parks have RV spots as well.

It is no mystery that average ages of people there are above the national averages, but there are plenty of fish on land and sea!

Englewood area is very good for fishing with Boca Grande the Tarpon capital of the US.

Have you looked at the FL Keys? We stayed at Jolly Roger RV park in Marathon and they had a lot of snowbirds but plenty of room for more. They've upgraded their park significantly since we stayed in 2011, with new showers and a pool. You can fish from the pier right there or take one of the many charters.

I'm sure there are many more seasonal sites up and down the Keys, if you want to stay further north towards Key Largo or south towards Key West.

Wintering In Florida

I agree that not only is Naples too far south, it is a pretty expensive area. I live in Englewood, which is just south of Venice. Harbor Lakes is a nice and decent RV park in Port Chrarlotte, very close to the harbor, which is nicely protected for all kinds of fishing. I don't live in my coach in Florida, but have used this park numerous times for tank dumping, watering, etc. You can find it at Harbor Lakes RV Resort | Encore RV Resort in Fort Myers, Florida

Don't know how booked up they are.

Nice area, convenient shopping, great fishing...

Thanks all been checking things out . most of what i want is the fishing / everglades that's why i'm looking south . don't want to be to far away from the things i want to do . women will be everywhere hence why their second on the list . night life is not a major thing as i'm not looking for a bar hound . costs in the keys is way to much have not found a place down their for less then 1500 a month . need to keep in my budget of no more then 8 or 9 hundred .

Fishing in the Everglades?.... There is Okeechobee (fresh / lake) a fishing haven... "resort" in Chukaluski (10,000 islands / salt) but thats about it.

You should say what kind of fishing... Charter, rental, deep sea. bays, from shore, bridge, salt or fresh??

The sand gnats will eat you alive right now in the keys and most of Fla.

CVS sells cheap vanilla perfume. It's called Body Fantasies French Vanilla. We use it down in south Louisiana at our fish camp inshore fishing. I thought it was a joke when one of the guys handed me some when I was gettin nailed by the bugs. Sure enough, I gave in, tried it, and wasn't touched by another horse fly and the gnats went away too. It doesn't work on mosquitoes, but it keeps the gnats and flies off you for sure.

Check out Tampa South RV Resort in Ruskin FL. It's right in your price range, it's right on the Little Manitee River (and has boat slips), Tampa Bay access within 10 minutes drive, and I noticed several single ladies in the park.
If you have a Kayak there's quite a bit of fishing right from the park. The Sunshine Skyway Bridge causeway and Sarasota area is a 20 minute drive.

When I was down there in March for bike week, we did a ride out in the Ocala National Forest, wound up at Gator Joe's on Lake Weir. It's a huge lake, lots of boating and fishing, and since it's not on the ocean, I'd bet it's more affordable. Might be worth a look. Plus you could always hop in your truck and hit the beach or salt bays if you're looking for salt fishing.

The only problem would be a couple hour drive to get into the Everglades for Python hunting. But there is a real nice sports bar/restaurant about a half mile north of the campground and some of the best Strawberry shortcake in FL right across the road.
