WOW . FR installed something that keeps out water . LOL
I have a few hard to open windows , ! use the dry graphite , liquid wrench makes it , great for slider seals also , door squeaks etc. Seems to help a little , better tight then loose

I have different brand and they stick as well. A cheap design flaw.

The dining room window used to be really hard to open. After service resealed my windows the dining room window is easy to open but now the bedroom window is almost impossible to open.

Ford, Why due caution on the exit windows? There is a screen and I use those windows all the time for ventilation. They have an indentation on the bar so they can be propped open. Easiest windows to open. Just curious, am I missing something?

F, I read on the forum to use a plastic putty knife or plastic fork and run around seal to unstick it. I've seen windows on an older unit that had never been opened and were stuck... very stuck.

I had read here that some exit windows would/could fall out and hit the ground, I was unsure if mine would so I used tape on the outside.

I did not wish to buy a new window unnecessarily .

F, I have 3 exit windows and use them all the time. The hinge from the top and they won't fall out. Like daiford said, they are the easiest of all to open and close.

So it seems but like I posted "all due caution" I'd rather be sure before hand and not buying a new window, MUCH cheaper that way......

With the door open and the Maxxair fan running I have not needed to open a window.

Besides I would rather sit outside in the shade and listen to the birds singing.

I have two escape windows that open easy they are hinged at the top. The 3 crank windows open easy but only about 6" on the bottom. The rest are just pain knuckle busters. I gave up on them and just leave them shut. On mine which are single pane, take's my wife holding both releases in and I go outside to lift them. Closing them is no problem.

We have one window like that and it happens to be in the worst place it could be...next to the dinette table. So to open it, it takes either 2 people sitting at the dinette, one on each side, to slide the locks and push the window up or if I try to do it by myself, I have to move the whole table to get to the window. Even then, it's difficult trying to move 2 latches and open the window at the same time. Very poor design. This is the only window we have like this so we hardly ever open it.

WW,
Really sorry for the delays. Been too busy to get to the camper.
Here is a picture of my setup. Just two spring loaded levelers that push towards the middle. Very easy slide in the levelers and the window moves easily.
Also, they are double pain windows.

Thanks Steve. It looks like the double pane are of a better design and are easy to use. The single pane have the release levers on top and don't work well. I have an idea to try when i get my trailer back from Camper's Inn. They were great last time, but dropped the ball this time.

I sprayed a little automotive "grease" spray from my local auto parts store. I don't remember the brand but I think it was the NAPPA brand. Often taking a bar of soap or wax candle to the rails helps as well. Mine now slide quite easily.
