Speakers

I have 2016 XLR Thunderbolt just turned 3years old June. Last week the exterior speakers caught my eye. They are coming apart. Really! This camper is babied, detailed and lives most of it storage life under a shelter. Are they suppose to come apart that quickly? Just asking!Click image for larger version

Most posts that I've seen about replacing outdoor speakers usually suggest a shallow mount (due to the wall thickness) marine grade speaker. Make sure you match the ohms to what the stereo puts out is the other key piece of advice I see on this topic.

Good Luck!

I have a 2016 as well, and noticed last week my speakers look very similar. One still had grasshopper remants in it next to one of the holes so I am thinking stuff gets in there and creates the problem going down the road for example.

Need to look into replacing mine as well.

Our 2015 speakers just crapped the bed as well. Must be Sony garbage as I had some marine Jensen’s last 10 years in direct sunlight with zero issues. Our fiver parks under a cover go figure. They are being replaced right now.

Replacement Speakers

If speakers are not going to last longer than three years I'm not inclined to spend a lot of many. So, I researched today and looked at Sony web site, Overtons, Amazon, Camping World. Finally Ebay. Set for $40.00. Bought be here in five days.

Just Sharing for you that need to replace yours a a fraction of the cost.
