Sturgis Booked

Locked and loaded!! Booked Rafter Bar J Ranch for the 75th. Two Hogs a Viper and a Ram are heading out on the 2nd of August. The only thing I would like to add is a second A/C in the bedroom. It is A/C prepped already. Anyone have any units they like in particular. Non ducted 11k-13.5k.

Head out a little early and hit up Thunder on the Prairie in Huron, SD. There's camping at the venue. Should be a good time!

I added a 13.5 unit to my last rig. Was very easy do it yourself install. Well, except for getting it on the roof. I did a lot of research and the unit we went with was an Atwood 13.5k air command. The reviews had it quieter than other brands and it comes with a wireless remote control. So, if you wake up and it's too hot, pull out the remote from your nightstand and fire it up from bed. Here is a link to the best price we found...

It's something new they're trying here that's being organized by a very avid biker and firefighter. These people are throwing everything at this event to make it spectacular. I can't wait! BTW, Hairball is awesome!

I added a second AC to my Garage. I was lucky and found a used 11k unit that was match for my existing 15k main unit. Main unit is ducted smaller unit is not. Pre wired made hook up easy. I needed a few guys to get it on the roof. Added a new gasket and had to get a different mounting kit because my roof was thicker than the one it came off of.

Here is a link of my install.

Man that sounds good! I am so close to installing my own A/C. I may have to bring the tractor up from the farm to aid in putting it on the roof. My wife may have a different opinion
though!! Ha Ha

I'm currently at Daytona Bike Week, wrapping things up here and heading back to PA soon, but I can confirm that Hairball is awesome! They've been at Broken Spoke a few nights here, their range and adaptability to different 70s and 80s hair bands is amazing. Have fun in SD, all...

Got a spot at Big Rig RV Park right on the west end of Sturgis. They decided to add 100+ full hookup sites this year so I reserved July 29-Aug 4. Should be fun.
Most years I've ridden out and tent camped or got a hotel, but I've got the new toy hauler so I'm super excited.
