I buy a good bit from HF but be sure to check out Amazon. You will often find better quality and more bang for your buck. On solar panels, this package works very well and delivers twice the power for just a few dollars more:
Amazon.com : Monocrystalline 100W Solar Panel ( UL Listed Plus MC4 Connector Adaptor Kit Plus PVM 30A Charge Controller) : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Will this plug into the Solar input on my Rockwood?

Probably better than NOTHING, but not much. Very low efficiency panels and price per watt nearly $3.00 even at the sale price. Suggest looking at REAL PANELS Renogy.com out of Chino, CA or normally slightly less in price, WindyNation.com out of Ventura, CA Both ship and I know I recieve from WindyNation next day, for free! I think both ship and receive through the Ontario, UPS depot about three miles from my address.

Seems like that is only a matter of wiring, connectors and polarity. With only a little DYI electrical skill and that should be doable.

I have a sticker on my pre-wired Cherokee that indicates "Zamp Only". Can someone explain?

The zamp connection is just - 2 wires ran back to batteries and their connection plug - - nothing special -

On the harbor freight solar system - I have a few RV and homeowners down in Mexico baja that have used this system for years with great success and dependability - very well built - and a great option if your looking for a portable system - the one on Amazon would need to be mounted - frame not designed to be moved around - in/out setup - -- great option also -

I believe the Zamp has a reverse polarity to the other units out there. Its there way to have a proprietary system that only uses there product. this can be fixed with a little wiring change I believe.

j free -

That was my fear...my luck I would fry something then have to explain my "tinkering" to my husband : > )

Zamp seems a bit pricey in comparison to what is available in the market.

The membership gives you special buy opportunities (a sales paper in the mail will have a section with item sale prices (coupons) for members only as well as the normal sales items for everyone), you don't need to be a member to use coupons unless the coupon states for club members only.

Dealer told me on the 26RR I am ordering Zamp only. Read the Zamp literature on line Solar Ready RV Solar Kits - Zamp Solar for a unit for pre wired RV,s and they include a controller which leads me to believe the plug on the side of the unit is just wiring to the battery. Also Zamp literature mentioned the new wiring unit replacing alligator clips going to the battery. Of course the three plugs on the roof for big units is something else.

I'm not against Zamp - I think they have a great solar product - just very expensive compared to anybody else

I checked out the HF solar kit back in March when not on sale. I bought a Renogy 100watt solar suitcase with the View Star 10amp controller for $235 and free shipping. See they are now $280. Works great and fits nicely under my dinette seat. I even made my own permanent fused pigtail with Anderson connectors for easy hookup to my coach batteries.
Note: the View Star controller allows me to do up to 16 volt equalization of the batteries.

Have you tried it and does it work?
It would be great if it charged a two battery system during the day while out playing.
