tips on cleaning the top of slide

Just brought our new XLR 27HFS home a couple of weeks ago. Downsizing from a class A Journey. We do not have a slide topper. Any tips on cleaning off the top of the slide out before we bring it in, without climbing up on the top of the toyhauler?

I have been getting up on a ladder to clean it off on ours. Maybe someone has a better idea. I look foward to watching for it.

Best thing you can do is go up on the roof, unless you want to carry a ladder with you. Really shouldn't skimp on this process, or you'll have all sorts of trouble if you bring it in with something on it.

Yea we have never had a slide without a topper. Might have to invest in one. Anyone put one on after purchase? If so, what kind?

we made the mistake of not having a slide topper installed before picking up our HTT.
we went a couple of years, before finally getting one installed and ended up paying more than we would have in the first place.
this was due to tree sap and residue causing the slide to stick to the side of the trailer.
since the slide topper was installed, we've never had this happen again.

A&E and Carefree are the most common slide toppers and they cost according to the length of your slide.
