TV mount

Hi all , last question (i hope) in the 28dk5 how does one remove the tv from the wall mount ?(50 in tv ) need to hook up dish tv

You have to life up firmly on the TV about 3/4" of an inch and then it will pop out of the bracket, and you can lift it away. You will probably want someone to help disconnect the cables while you are holding the TV. It's a bit awkward.

It all depends on the mount used.
I know of about 6 different kinds FR has used.
Not all R/Vs are the same.

Some call it a bear hug. I grab it from the sides and push my chest into the middle of the tv and then lift about an inch. There are 2 keyhole slots in the back on each side. You have to push forward and lift to pull it out.
I put a hook behind the TV on each side about 2/3 of the way up. I use a bungee, piece of rope or adjustable strap to hold the TV after it is off of the mount. Put it across the hooks and across the front of the TV in a loop to hold it leaning out at a angle.
