I had nothing more for installing a bedroom wall TV mount in our Sunseeker.

I just used my fist, or knuckles, or fingers to keep tapping the general area.
From the sounds of what I thought sounded hollow to a more solid sound, I put pieces of tape to define an area.

Then I placed the TV bracket in the Center, and marked the mounting holes with pencil. I drilled with the smallest drill bit to confirm I had something behind the visible wall. When I saw the smallest amount of sawdust, I switched to the proper size drill bit to complete the job.

If you’re wrong…….hang a picture with Command hooks!

The backer in my fifth wheel is steel and I could find the edges with some magnets, sliding them up and down or left and right till they held their own.

If I remember correctly, I was able to push on the wall with my thumbs and feel where the backer was. The wall deflected less where it was. I have a 28DK5. So far it has not fallen off the wall. lol
