Westlake tires
Roughly how many miles should you get out of a set of tires? I do between 1,000-1,500 per year, however this year we are doing Disney in Dec so we are going from NJ to FL and back and I will replace the stock Crusader 225/75/15's before that trip.
I have the stock PowerKing Towmaxx str II not sure how good they are but bought the trailer used and for $400.00 or so peace of mind swapping them for new Carlisle's is my best option this year

My towmax stock tires have over 15k miles on them in three years. Still look good. Gotta a nail in the side wall of one or I would not be replacing them

Usually age will be the bigger factor than miles. I have never wore out a set of trailer tires due to mileage, age is another story 5 years is a good time to replace but check the tire side wall date as the stock tires are older than the trailer.

Good tip, thank you and we will be replacing them as I want to start fresh so I know as I keep a log of everything with my trailers just to be informed.

My Westlakes are 4 yrs old with 18,000 miles on them. They still look good but I have about 3,500 mile ahead of me in a month so I'll replace them before leave. Don't need to ask for trouble along the way with limited options for replacements.

About a million of you brave souls need to try them over the next 5 years so we find out what they are really like. Carlisle and Maxxis have a great rep and those of us less brave will rely on you testers to prove just how good they are.
