We are about to purchase a 2015 Nitro 29UDQL, and I'm wondering if I need a slider or standard hitch for my F250 with a 6.75 bed. I've read so many posts about not needing a slider with these newer trailers, I was hoping someone who has a Nitro could comment and give me some direction.
I bought the B&W Campanion (Non Slider) then i was told that I made a mistake and needed to return it for the slider. I panic knowing that if a problem is going to find me it will find me so I went back and traded it in for a Slider. Prior to getting the slider I had the non slider installed and the guy told me go try it and if I wanted bring it back. I used it one time. I have been camping several times and have yet to use the slider. I plan my trips so I would not have to use it. I have yet to see anyone else use it either. . Oh, I forgot I have the XLR Thunderbolt 40ft

We pulled a 30' wildcat for 6 years and now have a 40' sierra which we've had for a year. I've never had a use for a slider and getting it parked at home is pretty tight. I've seen the "I'd rather have it and not need it than to not have it and need it" camp but I'm more of the "I don't need it so I'm not going to spend more money on it". Honestly, I'm not sure turning one of these 90* is a good deal in the 1st place.
