Ramp door latch wear

Our rear ramp door is jiggling, shifting back and forth while driving. This just recently happened. While shifting, the latches have had a lot of wear on them. The bottom left of the ramp door is also separating.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. It would really help if you told the forum what rig you have make and model and year.

You are talking about a rig that is 8/9 years old I would expect the hinges to have some wear especially if they have not been lubed on a regular basis. Have you looked at replacing the hinges and while you have the door off fix the separation issue. Without a pic it hard to tell how to address the separation good luck

Open the Welcome Private Message (PM) you received yesterday, locate the link to Forums 101 and click on it, follow the instructions in post #7 in that thread to post pictures.

Mine toy hauler did the same thing. Had all of the latches and bars replaced. They will wear out eventually as well. I’m looking at some options for a better fix.
