Fold Flat Couch: Re-upholster instructions / guide
Hello,
Yep, the leatherette on my couch is gone and the foam is worn out - so time to re-upholster. Can anyone point me to a resource on how to dis-assemble the couch parts so I can take them to an upholstery shop. I have searched these forums and YouTube with no success.
Getting them off the walls is no issue, in fact I had them fall off the wall and had a plate welded that solved that problem.
Are the newer couches any better? I saw less complaints, but it was not clear if they really had been upgraded. I assume the only place to order replacements, if that was a better option, is through a dealer (I have not seen these fold-up-flat couches anywhere from 3rd parties).
