Fuel gauge

Have a 2020 Forest River Stealth Toy Hauler, bought it used and no manuals. Trying to decipher the fuel gauge. May be a stupid question but what is the correct gauge reading with the pump on or off. Coming from an older toy hauler you would press the rocker switch and the gauge would tell you how much fuel in the tank. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Are you saying you different readings when the pump is on then when it is off? Just wondering

Yes that's correct. We turn the pump on from the inside panel and the gauge indicates the reading and pump runs for 15 minutes and then we turn it off and then the gauge goes down to different empty. We had an older toy hauler that had a rocker switch that you would press on it would tell you the reading. It may seem like a stupid question but we are a mature couple and not real hip on some of this fancy new stuff

Its designed that way so that you are not continually supplying power to the gauge. Saves power draw in the system.
