Has anyone had there slides open by there self? This is the second time I have come home and the bedroom slide was open. Checked the CCTV cams. and say it open up no one around.
If your slides operate off a remote it may be that something in your house or a neighbors is triggering the slide jus a guess on my part. Let the forum know when you figure it out

The Schwintek controller which was located under the sink on my 2016 WA2916 got wet (1st day I took the TH out) and the slide operated on its own, due to it being shorted out. Other than that; no.

Possible cause: On my previous TT I had the slide open almost half-way while going down the road. Luckily I spotted it in the rear view mirror, pulled over at a store and just pushed it back in. I secured it with some rope inside until I could get home. I found that a shear pin/roll pin had broken in the coupling between the slide motor and the shaft the gears were mounted on. IF you were able to bring the slide in with the motor this may not be what has happened to you but it may be worth checking to see if your slide drive unit has shear/roll pins.

That is what I hope doesn't happen. Open when driving but mine still works with power . I shut the battery switch off but still have it plugged in so hopefully that helps. Good thing is at home the bedroom slide has room to open. If the couch opens I really have a problem
