WA2916 TV Size

Hey folks! New guy here as well but really proud to be here. Wife and I just pulled trigger on a 2016 WA2916. We upgraded from a 2005 Pioneer 22' TH. This place feels like a mansion compared now ha-ha. We take delivery this next week!

Our unit came with the kicker sound system but no TV. What size TV can fit up there and clear the door?

Thanks everyone!

Jasen

Yes I have a 2016 WA2916 bought like a month ago. It comes with a TV in the main room but not in the bedroom.

Yea, and that reminds me...if they "forget" about the TV, try and negotiate for a comparable 12V TV for its place , that way you dont have to run the generator to watch it! Id like to replace mine with a 12V as well as get a 12V for the bedroom...

Yeah unfortunately I did already ask and I think that's kinda how I got the price I did. Out of everything as options the only thing missing is the TV. I really don't mind though. What size is in yours though?

I'm not positive, and can't measure since its at the dealer getting the repair work, but I'd guesstimate roughly about a 24" or so???

Yeah mine is at storage and sorry i can't go just to measure. The thing is, your really limited with the size based on the entry to the bathroom below. If the TV is too big you'll hit it with your head when going in/out of the bathroom. You could prob get s few inches larger than the stock one if you find one with a very thin bezel. I'd agree its prob no larger than 27" as the above poster says prob 24" .

Thanks guys. Yeah I was thinking it was 24-27". Appreciate it a bunch. I'll post pictures as soon as we take delivery. Oh btw, we got the aluminum one as well. I forgot to mention that earlier so maybe that's another reason price was a bit lower? I dunno lol.

I just learned a killer tip from a youtube video. With us picking up our unit tomorrow we went out and bought some new stuff last night including two TV's. Oh btw up to a 29" will fit up there so we got a 28" and a 24" for the bedroom. Here the amazing thing though....

Both of our new televisions are from Best Buy. They are the Insignia models. Nothing fancy but they look good. The bedroom one has a built in dvd player. Both use a power brick type of connector but I learned in the users youtube video that both tv's I bought (totally by luck) support a 12v cigarette lighter power source!! The awesome thing is that our bedroom actually has the 12v plug as well. A lot of the WA2916's I looked at didn't have the feature so I was stoked about that. Two 5 dollar plugs now off of Amazon and we'll have tv with no Gen!

Insignia 28" was $149
Insignia 24" was an open box item and I got them down to $109 on that one.

Nice. I am taking my WA2916 out this weekend for its maiden voyage. We got it like a month or so ago and its been sitting till now. In the bedroom, up top by where the coax outlet is, is that where your 12V power source is? I'll look at mine tomorrow, but I dont remember seeing it...

Enjoy your first trip AMG!! Awesome! Because our deal happened so fast, we were supposed to be camping this weekend in our old Fleetwood toy hauler but it sold and so I'm literally hooking up at dealership tomorrow and heading to camp. It's a full hook up place though so at least I can really relax and iron out any issues. If your unit has the hookups in the bedroom (I'm guessing it does) then yeah I think there is a 12v receptacle there as well. I know for sure the front living tv has one.

Basically the same. I had the 2015 F-150 and a 25' ultra light trailer. We went looking at trailers and somehow we bought a new one quickly. I realized my truck wasn't enough for it and so I had to deal with going to the F-250 PSD. The place we are going Friday is in San Diego and we are right on the water, our spot backs up to the beach with only a boardwalk in front of it, full hookups, etc. We just want to ensure the new TV pulls it well and go over every single thing inside the trailer to see that it all works well and determine what we may be missing, etc.

Thanks, I really can't remember. It's been in storage for weeks, but I'm picking it up tomorrow after work and bringing it home to prep for Fri. I'll definitely look! thanks again.

Good luck with your rigs guys, i just got an update from the dealer for mine...theyre replacing the whole window above the couch(it would not open), replacing the "whole slideout assembly"(guessing that means the tracks, gears, and whatever else??? since it began sliding in/out crooked) and replacing the outside speakers...
Man i want to take it out again so bad! haha
