I've been looking at the BD3 also, in moving to a 5th wheel i don't want to experiment with hitches that don't do what I want them to do, i did that with the TT before getting the Hensley nearly 20 years ago and it did all that they said it would do so i am inclined to believe the BD# will be just as good. Found this for all those that feel hurt by the cost, it's not really that bad. BD3 Air Ride 5th Wheel Hitch $2,515.00

That looks like a decent option and the reviews seem pretty good. If it wasn't so expensive, that is the only thing that is the big hang up for me. I am actually surprised they are so much higher in price than some of the air ride pin boxes.

Exactly. The BD1 right now is $1,895. It's a newer version of the BD3 and not in their printed literature yet. But it is on their web site. The BD3 is $2,295. The prices of both I am told will go up in March

After doing some more reading and research I think that from a features Vs cost standpoint that best solution for me is the 5th Airborne. I believe I have the Lippert 1621 pinbox but, l'm not positive. I contacted Primetime support and left a message and followed up with a email about 2 weeks ago, never heard back from them. I guess since I am out of warranty they don't feel the need to respond. Does anyone know if a Lippert item number 2849622 is the 1621?

Airborn 5th?? I have seen a couple but not found much about them...They have an airbag correct? Any idea what they cost? Here is the sticker on my PT not sure if it helps let me know if you need me to try to get anymore info off it...

It has a airbag and a shock etrade has a good review on it and customer reviews are good 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler - 16,000 lbs Capacity Reese Fifth Wheel King Pin 5AB-E1621-16K . As far as price the best I found was on Amazon Robot Check I can't find anything that looks like that. My res325 came with a cover over the pinbox I guess it's under that.

Took the cover off and it is a 1621. Found a great price on Jet.com https://jet.com/product/detail/03eb1...AMHxoCBZbw_wcB and they have a additional $30 off for first time customers. Just not sure of Jet have read some bad reviews with shipping.

I actually order it via Amazon. It was a 3rd party seller but at least I know Amazon's rep as I have dealt with them a lot in the past. The other reason I purchased from them was because it ended up being cheaper even after the $30 coupon from Jet...Amazon was free shipping also...the difference was $20...
Really hope this is what I am looking for...

Did yours arrive?? Mine was cancelled because during final inspection they said they found it was damaged and just happened be the last one...so I am still looking

Pulled the 5ver about a hour and a half today could definitely feel the difference I need to tweak it a little but happy with the initial results.
