2019 Sanibel 3851 Furnace Issue

I have an issue where the furnace was working fine (first time ever used it) on a 2019 Sanibel 3851 and woke up in the morning to no heat. Checked both propane tanks which seemed empty so I pulled them, had them filled, reinstalled them, made sure propane was flowing. Reenabled the thermostat and nothing happened, not even a click. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Is your battery charged, the house battery may be dead. If the battery voltage is low the furnace will not be able to light with its DSI.

There's a number of possibilities that need to be checked, like the sail switch, thermostat, etc. What brand is your furnace? I have a Suburban water heater that also lost spark after only a few uses. After checking everything else I narrowed the problem down to a bad control board. Take a look:

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...as-188117.html

These boards have a sordid history of suffering an early demise. What, you may ask, does this have to do with a bad furnace? At least with Suburban, the DSI system used for the water heaters is the same as their people heaters. I'm pretty sure that might apply to Atwood as well.
I assume your furnace is still under warranty, my water heater was as well but I fixed it myself just to save the hassle of dragging the trailer to the dealership just to have another sketchy part installed.
I can't say that's your issue, but it is something to consider.

Thumbs up Furnace Issue resolved

What I found was the furnace was overheating. I had installed a bug screen on the furnace outlet and caused the furnace to trip. I removed the screen hit the reset and the furnace runs good now! Thanks or everyone’s help!

Furnace

Well, it seems that the furnace will only run for app 5 minutes then trips, I reset it runs for app 5 minutes the trips. Anyone have had this issue or have any advice? And we just moved into this camper early this week as we will be selling our home.

Finally got this resolved, replaced the reset switch on top of the furnace.
