Has anyone added an awning to the kitchen slide out? Pics would be great.

Just asked my dealer to install one. He said no because there he didn't know If there was enough backing

I was just at the plant where they manufacture Sanibel's & Crusaders. I saw a few rear kitchen models (in slide outs) with the extra awning sitting in their lots. A call to them should get you your answer on whether any extra backing is necessary.

I wasnt too concerned about backing. Morr about if the support arms would be constantly in the way. Thanks for the input.
