318 Drawer Hardware

Has anyone has an issue with the 3 drawers on the side of the sink? The hardware is very flimsily. Having trailers for years, I know how to operate all the doors, drawers, and cabinets gently, realizing they are not as high of quality as in a home. Mainly, weight is the issue. However, the first time I pulled out the drawer under the couch, the stops pulled loose. So, now the drawer will come out all the way when opened. The only thing holding it (for a stop) was a small 2x2 nailed to the frame. Upsetting for the design, but livable. We just do not open quickly and all the way out.
However, the issue is two of the three drawers located in the kitchen sink island. The hardware tore out of the side of the cabinet. They were stapled in. Now, the center drawer will not open all the way because I can not secure the slides that the drawer rides on.

Has anyone had this issue? Has anyone modified or installed new slides and secured them? If so, please pass on the information to me.

Thanks.

I had the issue and was replaced under warranty. Now this year again the same issue, but not broken. We are very gentle and firm with them.

I also have a problem with a soft floor around the floor vent in the kitchen and was just informed others have had the same issue.

I think if we had people with the same issues complain and notify PT we may be able to get some needed repairs. Many people with the same issues is a manufactures defect. I do not expect a 38000 trailer to have soft floors and twice broken drawer hardware on a 2013 model 2 years old.

What are your thoughts?

This is first ive heard on drawers....I know i had to replace all the screws in my door hinges with longer ones, as the factory 1/2 inch junk kept pulling right out of the wood (and many I had to glue and toothpick before i could even swap screw)...I found this the first couple months i had trailer but dealer was 500 miles away, so I went to home depot, spent 8$ and fixed em all myself.......its just one of those things....and its not just prime ive helped fix same/worse issues on 100k + toy haulers.....
