318BHS Tanks locations

Does anyone have any pictures or diagrams of the tank locations on a 318BHS? I have never pulled the "underbelly" plastic to take a look..

I am trying to figure out the best way to drain all of them fully (tongue up/down/side to side), and a picture is worth a thousand words...

I have an idea of their locations, but would love to verify...

Thanks in advance,
John

Your black tank is directly below your toilet.
One gray tank is directly below your shower.
One gray tank is half under your stove, half under your refrigerator.

Hope this helps.

To fully answer his question he needs to know if the tanks are oriented north/south or east/west. For our camper, the grey and black are oriented north/south and the galley tank is east/west making it difficult to 'set' the camper to fully drain all.

I'm directionally challenged sometimes

However, I would say the tanks are all running East/West meaning that the rectangular tanks are installed with the long dimension running perpendicular to the main frame rails and the short dimension running parallel to the main frame rails.

All of the tanks are sloped toward the "off door side" where they drain.

I knew that Geometry would come in handy some day

Is this true of all Lacrosse models?

This is how the tanks are laid out in all LaCrosse models.

Here is a pic that I was just sent when I had questions about my tanks on my 318BHS. Hope this helps, obviously this frame has been flipped upside down for work. Galley all the way to the right, gray in the middle, black to the left

Great picture, thanks to all (6.4 tow rig and Prime Time) for releasing this photo. Where is the fresh water tank? I'm assuming from the picture the front of the trailer is to the right, which the fresh is out of the picture to the right? I know when I add water to my fresh tank, this adds more tongue weight as trailer tows better.

Im guessing the fresh water is in the front somewhere under the storage compartment, close to where the fill is.

Man, that photo is worth a thousand words, sure helps explain a lot. I can now see how the galley and grey are plumbed together. Except in the 303 RKS (rear kitchen) the galley tank is mounted all the way to the rear under the kitchen sink and it's a long way to the dump valve. That's why it can take awhile for the galley to drain completely in the 303 RKS. The slope of that long section is minimal so I fould it's better to be "nosed" down to facilitate faster draining.

dont feel bad kozy
I have 2 levers and 5 tanks ! well 4 waste tanks and one fw tank
so when I pull up to the dump station I have to do it twice since there about 8 or so feet apart which makes me have to dump front two then move ahead 8 feet and do it again !

I do nt feel bad...i guess I'm just trying to figure out if I do infact have a galley tank and a separate grey water tank....are they both drained by the single grey water lever? And if so...why did my dealer never tell me this..or why is it not in any documentation from prime time? What are the tank capacities? I have a 318 BHS and am clueless...I'm confused...I think I'm getting a headache hahaha

can you see your pipes coming to your outlet ?
the galley may be tied into your grey . someone will know the specific answer since I am not to versed on prime time .
actually according to your prime time brochure you have 60 gallons of grey so I would say you have a grey and a galley both tied into each other.Prime Time Manufacturing, Manufacturers of travel trailers and fifth wheels

More for me to investigate tomorrow. Bed time. Haha. I'm guessing if it is 60... Then I probably have to 39 gal tanks. And no I can't see my pipes. The underbelly is all enclosed. All that sticks out is the outlet drain

Yes the Lacrosse has two gray tanks, the galley and the gray. The kitchen drains to the galley, thats why its up front in the picture I posted. The shower and bathroom sink drains to the gray tank. Its in the middle on the picture, and obviously the toilet drains to the black water, tank to the far left. The water from the outside kitchen sink also drains to the black water. On my 2013 the monitor panel has galley, gray and black listed. However the issue is since the galley and gray are connected with an 1.5 pipe from the bottom of one tank to the bottom of the other they both fill at the same time depending on how level the trailer is sitting. So really having two monitors for gray and galley doenst do much. One will read the same as the other and thats also what makes the 60 gallon capacity. Primetime has been great about explaining this to me in emails and sending the pic I posted earlier

EDIT: I forgot to mention that since the two tanks are linked together they use the same drain point, thus you only have one gray tank lever.
