ABS King Pin Cover
So my dealer is trying to tell me that manufacturers are "hit and miss" about including this ABS King Pin Cover on 5th wheels, and trying to claim mine wasn't made with one when it was clearly installed at some point in time as there is rusted screw holes from when it was installed, also its listed as a standard item on Prime Time's website. I think that either their transporter or the dealer removed it for some reason and is trying to refuse replacing it.
Question is did your 5th wheel come with this ABS cover for the kin pin box?

It likely came with one. What I found was on some hitches they would snag and crack. Mine did on my Pullrite hitch (I have a sanibel), it was replaced under warranty and the dealer properly trimmed it. I would lean on them to replace it if you want the unit with one.

My unit is already bought and financed so unfortunately can't use it as a deal breaker item, I overlooked it during PDI. The dealer is claiming the trailer probably never had one, however I would dispute that fact. Pretty much said if they look at the photos they took when they posted it online and it doesn't have it, that I would have to purchase one. However being it a standard item I think they should have disputed it with either Prime Time or the shipper if it showed up on their lot missing it.
It is the factory pin box, hasn't been replaced.

Prime Time
I have a 2015 Prime Time Crusader 315RST and it came with the ABS cover. I believe you can find the covers on Lippert Components web site but I have to think your coach came with the cover. If the dealer will not help I would contact Forest River directly. Just my 2 cents.

I have a 2014 Sabre that came with the pin box cover standard. Mine is being replaced under warranty by the dealer because of a 4" crack in it. The screws were loose and two were missing so the wind moved it around and cracked it. My dealer didn''t balk at all about replacing it. I would keep pressuring them or like Silverado said contact forest river directly.

My Crusader 290RLT came with one, but took it off when I changed the pin to a Reese Airborne it would not fit.
I was looking at some new 5W last week all Prime Time 2015-2016 none had the cover on top of the pin.

Every Crusader on my dealers lot has one. Mine came with one. I personally like it. I store my umbilical in it to keep it out of the weather.

My lite came with one (fiberglass) on it but I may take it off so I can use the top set of bolt holes to lower the thing another inch or so, trailer rides a touch high in the nose.

Ditto-2013. It flutters in the wind when traveling and may have broken. Make the dealer install a new one. If mine should break I would not replace it.

Mine was broken in transit to the dealership and they had to order another one under warranty. I wouldn't be surprised if yours was broken in transit and they simply removed it.

U have a 2014 295RST and the cover flutters in the wind. I think eventually it will crack due to the constant flexing.

My 2016 295rst has the mor/ryde 1621 compatible pinbox. It did not come with a cover.Did the 2014 have a Lippert true 1621 pinbox? I wonder if there is a pin cover that will fit the mor/ryde. Also, I moved up to the top 2 holes to try to lower the nose. Stll seems about 2 inches high.

 On Pumas it was an option. I opted not to pay the extra $ for it when we ordered ours. So no some makes do not come with the cover. Ours did not come with one....... have seen many broken ones.
