Nice, we camped at the Dinosaur Trail RV Resort for a few days in 2009 and really enjoyed the area.

Here we are at Battlefied Resort in Gettysburg. 40's and rain, snow expected tomorrow during the Halloween festivities . Couldn't tell by the number of campers here, this place is packed. Campfires going with people gathered around . Should be interesting tomorrow to see how many change their minds, pull up stakes and head home .

Your pictures are absolutely stunning. Thank you sharing. They reinforce my desire to revisit the area this next summer.
Can you offer any recommendations for campgrounds (preferably those that can be reserved) in and around Banff/Jasper Park? My wife and I would be traveling to the area from northern Idaho.

Thank you, since we are only a good hour away from Drummheller most of our trips to the museum are day trips but for next season we plan to camp in the area for a week.

Take care,

It's rather easy, one picks up the camera, looks through the peephole and presses the thingy on top.

Take care,

Thank you and you are welcome. If you come up from Idaho you might as well spend a few days in Glacier Natl.Park/Waterton Natl.Park (also known as International Peace Park) it is another gorgeous area. Reservations in all Natl.Parks are highly recommended, here is the link to the Canadian Natl.Parks reservationsite: Campground Reservation Service

Take care,

Sure, rub it in and now we'll have to plan a trip to Inverness (not camping though)

Take care,

Thank you for the kind remarks, if you head out west don't forget to look along the road. We have done the road trip from here to PEI a few times but one has to have time. Here are a few pictures from our 2010 trip: Road Trip August-October 2010 Photo Gallery by Heinrich Lohmann at pbase.com

Take care,

Photog, We lost about one third once the snow started. But, the ones who stayed had a great time and the kids decorated the Lodge and got it ready to hold the Trick or Treat festivities inside.
