been on the back burner for a while, just got around to doing it....pantry light door jamb switch. Open the door light goes on...shoulda been done from the factory!
Hid the wires behind the jamb molding down to the level of the factory switch then surface mounted the wires over to the switch. I covered the wires with matching wallpaper tape I had gotten from FR for a previous repair.

nice! So you had a light in the pantry already or did you install one? The pantry in my lacrosse is just to dark and has no light. I'm sure fdw would love a light in there.

yes factory light with wall switch inside the pantry.
kids love to leave the light on & close the door. Problem solved.
