Tie a 15 amp fuse to it and touch the fuse to the pos side of the battery. If it doesn't blow, try to operated one slide.

No... can't get to the motors to test wires with the slides in. I'm hoping forest river can tell me where it goes. I plan to call them Monday.

Try the fuse idea, worse thing that can happen is blowing the fuse.

If OC's idea with the fuse doesn't work, remove and clean all battery connections to bright metal and seal with elec grease or terminal paint. The two pos leads look to me like the DC bus feeder and the slide feeder. Need to locate the length of both just beyond the battery and look for inline fuses. Usually they can be reset with a button. Finally, locate the slide negative connections to the frame, the motor must have pos and neg. to work. That extra "cable" you found doesn't look big enough for two slide motors and does not look like factory supplied wiring.

Prime Time called me and told me that wire is the ground for the slide out motors. I am supposed to connect it to the negative battery terminal. It will be a few weeks before I get back to it but I will update the post after I get it connected.

Thanks for all the feedback and help.

You should look underneath battery tray and see if there is a crimp connector attached to the frame which is negative.

Just looking at post #6 to where there is the black and Red wires with several 'red' on on terminal post. Can not see the + or - on the battery, but I am pretty sure that my battery has a couple of 'red' wires going to it on the positive post and a white wire going to the neg post. just wondering.

Lookin at my pic, the terminal with the single heavy black cable is negative (furthest away in pic). The smaller black wire on the positive terminal goes to our power tongue jack (installed by dealer).

And they told you to put the 'red' wire on the Negative battery or does it attach to the frame? If you attach it to the battery, it will look very strange to have on the positive a Red and Black and on the Negative post a Red and Black wire.

I would be a little leery to what is going on.
