Crusader 295RST Water Pump

Hi all.
My Crusader 295RST is all bundled up for the winter but I just remembered a question. While I was winterizing I noticed the pump pressure seemed lower than usual. Is the pump near the Water Heater? I can't remember. And if so can I clean it?
Thanks
PS I did search this first but did not see a thread for it.
Best regards
Mike

I have a 315 and I think my pump is right behind the UDC, I could be wrong though because I have never put my eyes on it for sure.

Yes. You'll find your pump behind the basement wall, behind the UDC. Mine is actually located more towards the center of trailer bacause of all the plumbing lines taking up space between it and the UDC/water heater.
There should be a filter screen in a clear plastic cup on the inlet side of the pump which you can remove & replace.

Thumbs up Pump

Once you locate the filter in the pump you may be able to clean it to get by until you find one. I used a tooth brush and removed 95% of the gunk clogging it in my RV that I had before my Windjammer. I made it part of my preseason prep after the antifreeze was flushed out.

I've had issues in the past on other rigs with plastic leftovers getting caught in the pump during construction. May or may not be you issue, but certainly important to look if you're going to take your pump apart to clean it. Be sure to make sure your check valve is not leaking.

Pump is to the left of the WH. Often times gunk, plastic bits and other crud gets into the faucets etc; stuck at the aerator. Try pulling them off. Also wand out your WH in the spring to get the calcium that accumulate in it.

Crusader 295RST Water Pump

FYI, there is a fuse for the pump right next to the pump. Took me a while to find it when the pump stopped working. 2013 crusader 295rst and the pump is located in the basement about center little to the left. You need to remove the wall.
