Hi all, I hope everyone is having a good camping season so far this year! well I finely go around to adding rails to the bunk over the outdoor kitchen so my daughters friends don't fall and hit there heads on the counter below:roll eyes:.
4 pcs 2"X3/16" thick flat stock heated and bent at a 90*
1- 1"X3" popler
I think it looks good, could have matched the wood better but I did this in one short day with stuff I had on hand except the steel.
I have some more on the back burner but until I get some things resolved with our unit they will stay there. Take care and happy camping

I did a similar mod to the TT I traded on the present 5er, only I replaced the thin band of trim with a 1x10 notched for the ladder & stained to match.

Also covered the water heater switch to prevent the kids for turning it on. ( horrible location)

Nice job on the mods,I'm looking at the bathroom sink and faucet as we speak but I would like to go bigger, the standard size is 20x17 oval and thats to big for the space but I'm still looking, I like the fact the faucet is on the sink so the water stays in the sink and not on the counter. I like the kitchen faucet as well. Keepaeyeonit

Thanx, Had to go with a sink for rv's. (Bought it on eBay for cheap) I could not find a residential sink that would fit. Definately did not like the factory sink/ faucet layout. Always was worried about water on the counter.

Hey Keepaeyeonit LOVED your mod on the bunk beds. We used your idea and did the same exact mod on our unit. I LOVE it. I no longer need to worry about my little guy falling out of bed and it helps him to get into the bed as well. Keep the ideas coming guys!!

Lowes, Home Depot & Menards sell those clear outlet covers. I think hardware stores too.
