Crusaders What Fridge do they come with

Mine is a Norcold which I prefer but the outside vents say dometic.

I wonder if they had to replace anything or they just swapped the outside vent cover?

Ok thanks, not sure but I am not about to spend $80 just to replace them?

I was buying the vent screens for bugs and that is what threw me off, Fridge is Norcold but outside covers are Dometic

Mine came with the cheap Norcold, no way to switch from elec to gas other than pulling the vent and unplugging it in the back to force it on gas

I have the 2023 Crusader 295 and ours auto switched from electric to gas? We drove 6 hours and it was freezing in there when we got home until I turned it off and **** the propane.

My 2012 Shasta had Norcold which switched as well, I hated the Dometic in my Rockwood Roo very noisy

Norcold refrigerator. It auto switches between gas and 120vac. There is no hose hanging out of the outside covers like the Dometics (I actually prefer that drain method, but didn't have a choice).

For the outdoor vents, I simply bought some aluminum window screening from Lowes. Took off the outside covers and measured the area. Cut the screen down to size. Placed the screen over the area and then put the covers back on over them. Push it a little harder than normal and the little "twist locks" will push through the screen and lock in place. Cheap and easy. You can't see it from outside, so who cares if it looks any different than the other mud dauber covers.

Ours is a 2014 built in May 2013 ...is there a manual for your fridge? Maybe it was replaced for some reason if you are not original owner
